karaoke night
Tonight was a pleasant end to a truly mauvais day. We had karaoke night for phi sigma pi. It got crazy up in thurrr...bunch of girls trying to sing "baby got back" on one small stage. Lol...why is "one week" such a good karaoke song? Cause nobody can sing that shit!
Yesterday was pool night and we had a merry ol time.
So today was probably one of my least enjoyable days so far. I just kept tripping left and right...jammed the shredder in the office, ripped some documents, got screwed on rent, rushed to buy stuff for the bake sale only to remember today was not the designated day, realized my minor has not been declared yet even though I've filled out the form twice, left my wallet at home when buying groceries, was told I have an 8 pg paper on security crises in Africa due on Monday, I have about 4 tests coming up, and the flight I was supposed to take home may not work out..blah blah...the list goes on. It could be worse, I know. But I feel so inadequate sometimes...I'm probably one of the clumsiest people I know. All my life. I wonder if it's chronic.
The other day I clocked out of work an hour early and went to class, only to realize I was an hour ahead of schedule. je suis tres bete vraiment. (translation: I am truly stupid)
Tomorrow is my chem test...and I have not studied. I'll probably pass but not with the grade I want.
But on a better note: I'm in the general assembly third committee representing Senegal for SRMUN. And its in Atlanta! I get to miss class on thursday and friday, the weekend of Nov. 17-20. I can't wait...I want to start my position paper already. And I don't care what the fuck people think...Saudi Arabia joining the WTO is a big step toward social reform!
