So how about that
An evening playing kings and queens
And now for the nightcap
Clean up and then a night cap,
Because it seems so very vague
But when you stop looking for lines
You can see the shade
Of what things I’d like to say
Of life and love
And some other thing or two
Just to muse around the moon,
Before the day is through.
Hah, nightcap to stop thinking,
Stop asking
What would Jesus do
Tonight kiddo,
It’s up to you.
So how about that
An evening playing dumb
An evening spent imagining
Another day
Come went and done
So how about that!
They call us the pioneers
So who drew those lines?
And framed our fears?
Because it all seems vague
But stop looking
For the shade
And open up
Eyes
To a free life, lived not made.
