Christmas dinner
So I finally told Tom I wanted to do our Christmas eve and not go to his mothers. I have been saying it for years but this year, after the Thanksgiving debacle I told him I wouldn't do it anymore. We are going to my mothers for brunch and dinner tomorrow but today we are staying home, I am cooking, Ellie & Tom are coming here instead of us going there, Dominic and his gf Nikki are also coming- only because Tom made me invite them. He said it wasn't in the Christmas spirit to not invite them. (grrr). Yes I am sill mad at him. Elle is coming home and staying tonight for Christmas eve and day!!!!! Very glad for that. Anyway. After dinner we are opening gifts and going to 10pm mass. Since Tom has to work tomorrow we will open our gifts tonight and I will make the kids stockings for the morning.
I am calm and coping pretty well, stuff is getting done. Turkey is in the oven, pies are baked, spinach maria and sweet potato casserole are waiting to go in the oven. Need to get some cleaning done but so far I am ahead of schedule and the boys are being very helpful.
