Excited
The range of emotions for me today has been ridiculous! I am crazy excited for Ella to be on her way but nervous and flustered too. Of course I get like that when people come over; and since it has been over a year since Ella has been here I am ubber excited. Today has been extra crazy though.
Tom discovered he took the cell phone to work with him today so I had to go and get it since I have to pick Ella up from the airport. James stayed home to help me finish up getting the house in order, of course it is still a mess but it is better. Ok so mess might not be the right word. We just have way too much crap. I so need to weed out our belongings. Anyway.... So
My mom also stopped by with some things she needed me to bring up to church for her. I also went to Walgreens for Tom and Thomas' meds and got gas for the car. Plus to DHS since I missed the mail this morning. So I was very flustered and not paying attention so when I was almost to Toms work I got pulled over for speeding....63 in a 40. OY! Almost $90 ticket. I guess it could have been worse. And I wasn't even supposed to be there! So I had a minor breakdown at the point and sat on the side of the road and cried. Luckily while I was gone James was here at the house working on the cleaning list. Too much d=added to my plate that I wasn't planning on got me overwrought.
I am calm now and James and i found Ella's flight info and were tracking her plane. I am so excited!!!!! I just want to sit and knit and hang with my friend. 62 days she is in the US this time and I know I don't get her the whole time, in fact I am a little jealous she will go stay with Will-who I don't know- but worse is Steve, she is going to go stay with STEVE! Grrrrr. He is acting like such a dick lately and it makes me irritated that she will be leaving me to stay with him. I know part of it is to see Riker but that really doesn't help much.
No, no,no....this is a positive post. I am really looking forward to Ella being here and don't wanna share! Gonna have to get going soon but we are going to have a GREAT visit!
