Knit gifts
So I am knitting a beautiful shawl. I knew it would be. Seeing the shop model I thought it looked like waves so I bought a variegated ribbon yarn called Ocean and a mohair/silk blend in Aqua. At repeat 2 Dominic said it was beautiful, just because he saw me knitting it, I didn't ask for his opinion. As I knit farther and farther along I can see and know that this will be lovely. A wonderful evening by the ocean shawl. Just enough to keep the chill off walking on the beach. I can picture it on a woman in a blue evening dress. I can see it on my sister. I can not see it on me. I have tried picturing myself wearing it and I just can't. Adrienne's face just keeps popping onto the picture in my mind. Why can't I picture myself in these beautiful things?
