Ok, so I have started Curves and SparkPeople in my effort to drop a lot of weight. I decided I don't want to be fat at 40 (coming way to fast). Anyway I decided to post my weekly/monthly totals here too. I will make a separate group for this topic so if you want to be in that group- or not, let me know.
First Curves measurement:
Bust - 57 1/4
Waist - 52 1/4
Abdomen - 55 1/4
Hips - 54
Thighs - 22
Arms - 15 1/2
Weight - 282
Height - 5' 7 1/2"
Body Fat % - 45.7
I would love to lose about half of my body weight. I was a thin child, then came middle school and epilepsy. I have put about 100 pounds since high school, and I was already overweight when I started. I just kept putting it on. When I was pregnant was one of the only times I would lose weight. Postpartum depression put all of it, plus a few pounds- just for good measure- back on. Having had 5 pregnancies you can imagine. I also lost about 60 pounds for my sisters wedding- those pounds+ are back too.
I want to lose weight so my kids can get their arms around me, if I am choking someone could give me the Heimlich without any trouble or assistance, so I am not huffing & puffing playing with my kids; I want to be able to shop in a store that doesn't cater to big girls. These stores are not bad, in fact most are good but I have had to shop in them since I was in middle school. :-( To not be embarrassed by my gut, to see the woman in the mirror that I am in my head. I could go on and on but I think I'll stop here before this gets me too depressed.
