So she is gone more than she is home. Monday she came home for a few hours...to do laundry and see her girlfriend. It was only a little while but she was happy and pleasant. She wanted to go back to Knoxville that night because she had classes in the morning. Yes, classes. She enrolled in
Pellissippi state Community College. I am happy for her and because she took the initiative to do it herself. She has classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so she can keep a regular work schedule. She likes her classes and her professors.
Unfortunately she couldn't find her keys. We spent at least an hour looking for them. Pulling everything out of her car at least three times. Pulling all the sheets etc off of her bed, looking under all the furniture in every room. In the front hall table, kitchen counters and table and we couldn't find them. Even Thomas came out because E woke him up with her near hysteria.
I made Thomas some warm vanilla- she offered him $20 if he found them. I sat down with Thomas at the table and low and behold what do I see? Her keys. They were next to my camera case and her key chain just blended in. Half was covered by my big green cup, but still, one of us should have seen them.
For finding them I got several hugs with one or two kisses thrown in. Heck she even let me hug her goodbye later. That makes me the happiest.
