I had a nice night with my hubby.
Nothing major.
Went to mass-amazing in and of itself because he generally only comes on holidays and when the kids are involved in the mass.  It was so nice to go to church with my husband.  It was packed.  Usually Saturday night mass is fairly small, tonight however it was as if it were Christmas or something.  Of course that is probably partially because of the free "dinner & a movie" with babysitting afterward.  That is why Tom went.
We went to mass with the kids and stayed and had dinner (pizza and salad) then the kids went to the Sunday School area while the adults stayed in the Parish Life Center (fancy way to say meeting hall with kitchen).  The Marriage Encounter community sponsored it and showed Fireproof.  It was a good story, not very good acting, at times a bit heavy on the christian aspects, but was to be expected.  All in all a good story, could have been better with better acting.
I was a little nervous about Tom liking it/not liking it, being comfortable/being uncomfortable (both physically and emotionally), etc.  It didn't help that he was supposed to be at work at 8, so I was worried that he might be antsy to leave.  He didn't though.  And when I asked him about it during the movie, he said he didn't want to disappoint me. (it wasn't quite 8) but later he said he didn't want to go, he wanted to stay with me and see the end.  We cuddled (as much as one can on hard stacking no armed chairs), it was really nice.  I took him out to the car just before the end, we talked for a few and he went off to work.  Mom and Dad gave me and the kids a ride home after we cleaned up.
All in all a good evening.  I am glad we went and I am definitely going to get a copy of that movie to watch with him again.

happy, dinner, date, tom
