School
Ok, so I have never been a fan of Jefferson County High School, anyone who has read this journal for any length of time knows this. You also know that for her senior year my oldest must go there because she messed up so bad I couldn't pay her school to take her back-Bwah-haha!
Now I have lost what little shred of respect I was trying to muster for the school.
Let me explain.
Today they are having a pep rally because it's homecoming. They give you the choice of going or going home-with parents permission. Last time I picked her up, this time a friend was also leaving and so I wrote a note to the school to let her leave. Now, dip-wad that she is, my daughter did not turn said note into the office until after lunch and it was almost time for them to get to leave. What do you think happened next??? No wait I'll tell you. She called me from the office, told me what happened and I waited for an office person to come to the phone. The woman first asked me "Who are you on hold for." I replied that I didn't know and why I was on the phone-I never told this woman my name or my daughters name- I just told her that my daughter called me because I had written her a note to leave before the pep rally and she forgot to turn it in. She asked me,"So it's ok with you that she leave?" I said yes, she replied "ok, thank you. Good-bye."
What is wrong with this picture??? My daughter could have written that note herself, they don't have my signature on file if they would even check. I wrote the note in pencil-it was all I could find, but you'd think that might make them suspicious. She called me, not the office staff so I could have been some girl in the bathroom on the other end faking it. I mean really! She didn't ask my name or my daughters name so how the hell would she know who she was talking to!?!?
Yet another reason on my list to get the hell out of here!
