Accomplished
Last night I got a wild hair and decided to re-arrange my bedroom. By myself. It took me several hours but it's done.
Tom and De decided to play Rock Band and I decided that I had a choice, sit and knit or get something done that I have wanted done for the last 6 months or so. So I got up and went down to my bedroom and started vacuuming-I had to borrow my parents because mine started smoking the last time it was used. All this was done after I cleaned the kitchen and living room and made 3 salads and dinner for the 'rents and the in-laws.
First I took put all my shoes in the closet, moved Toms nightstand into the hall, then moved Tom's dresser. I had to vacuum in sections every time I moved something and before I could move it into place. I moved all the furniture myself; both nightstands, both dressers, the bed, hope chest, and rolling cart (that doesn't roll)-I moved the book shelf a month or so ago. Tom helped me move my dresser the final 4 feet or so because I knocked one of the side feet off pulling it. Mostly I rotated everything. Taking all the crap off of Tom's night stand and dresser was the worst, and the most time consuming. He now has 2 totes that he has to go through and get rid of stuff or put it away.
I am so happy I did it. I put new sheets on the bed, took a shower and was in bed by around 2:30a.m. or so. I started at about 10:30 or 11p.m. It really made me feel good that I did it all by myself. I did what I wanted to do and by God it got done. I just got motivated and let myself go from there.
I had such a great day yesterday!!!!
