Two points for the good girls
Yup, good girl gets a bonus point and an hour off. On Monday morning my Professor for my 11 o'clock wasn't here, but he left a movie to watch.
So of course being the good girl that I am I took out my notebook and started taking notes. This movie was also about a subject that I feel strongly about, migrant farm workers, so I wanted to stay.
Some of the class were getting rowdy and loud and irritating me but they eventually left-after about ten minutes, but four of us stayed and watched the whole thing...much to the chagrin of the TA, who had wanted to leave but we told her we wanted to stay and watch since it was the assignment he'd left for us.
Good thing we did. When I got there today Dr. Dalton was sitting with my friends, Julie, Katie, and Tiffany, in my seat, talking in a quiet voice, when I came in he got up and said, "I'm glad you are here I wanted to talk to you to." Damien-jerk-from back piped up and said I was in trouble.
Evidently he really wanted everyone to see this movie and there is an assignment that goes along with it, so everyone has to watch ot today, and we were given the assignment and told we could leave.
Two points for the good girls!!! So free hour for us, we get a head start on our homework, but here I am on LJ. :)
