Only 2 days to go
Til Christmas. I hope all goes well.
My mother is doing Christmas with my sisters, so I am doing Christmas with my friends. :) I like these people much better than my family-in fact I consider Princessluvie family and my other friend coming has been a friend of mine for almost 20 years now, and has been like a sister to me also. I am looking forward to everything except maybe the cooking and cleaning I really need to do in advance. Both are called "Aunt" by my children and in fact the kids also feel closer to them than my actual sisters.
I still have so much to do, I really need to bake- bread (for stuffing) and pies and cookies. I also need to clean more. I also need to finish wrapping presents. *argh* I need a few elves for help. All in all I can't WAIT for my friends to spend Christmas with me. :D
I wish I could say I was done Christmas shopping, however I have been so irritated at Liz I really haven't gotten much of anything for her...It's all stuff I bought before I got angry with her-and that's not much.
De is making out well this year, as are the boys.
Tom and I agreed not buy each other gifts but I had to get him his yearly pair of slippers and Eternity. Of course there was one more thing I couldn't resist. But since I bought for him he wants to buy for me and I really don't want him to.
