"Exercise makes you happy. And happy people just don't shoot their husbands"

So today I feel crap-tastic, and I've been trying to figure out why I've randomly been like that this week. I've only come up with the following reasons:
-Lack of sleep: Even though I haven't been going to bed to late, I feel like I haven't slept at all. Going to a concert late last night probably didn't help matters much (Liana made it her duty to take a group of friends to see Taylor Hicks. And while it wasn't bad, the experience will definately breed some sort of long essay to be posted elsewhere about the horros of middle aged women acting like teeny boppers)
-Lack of food: Now I know why my parents told me to make Jewish friends. It sucks keeping Passover alone, especially when your dining hall's version of kosher for Passover is a plate of Matzah. And nothing else.
-The weather: The warm spring-like weather this weekend was far to brief, and this week we've plunged into the rainy yuckiness and even possible snow later this week.
-Negative lectures: In the past week I've been taught that the second Depression is going to hit America sometime soon, that today's preschoolers will probably fight in Iraq when they reach my age, and that when global warming gets really bad prime realestate will be found in Greenland, among other things. Thanks education!

Sometimes when you feel crappy it helps to make a list of why you do, so then it becomes clear that you're down over stupid things (if in fact the things are stupid). So now looking at this I realize all I need is some sleep and some bread and some sun and that's all happiness really is in the long run. Oh well, it's a shitty day for shitty reasons but this too shall pass.
This weekend was amazing though, thanks to the lovely Jess and her lovely visit to Boston in which we took urinal pictures, went to Harvard and pretended to be smart, and just generally were the silly betches we are. Friday night I introduced her to the joy that is radio, as I had to do the show by myself (again) so having her there was really great. We played more Scissor Sisters than I think anyone's ever played on that station, and for that we cooler than any pretentous indie music snob that has ever passed through the studio doors.
I see Sondre Lerche on Friday. H to the ooray.
And now it's sleeting/raining outside and I have to get to a film for Humanities, something dark and bloody I'm told, which will be all the more thrilling. Whoopdedoo.
Listen to The Apples in Stereo. They're pretty much awesome.
