you gotta start from somewhere...
About a year ago I got a part as an extra in a movie about a kid who immigrates to Sweden with her grandfather (for the Swede's around it's the movie Förortsungar). The day of the taping was real fun, yes we got to sit and wait alot, but it was still fun and I got earned 350 kr that day (about 50 US dollars), plus I got permission not to go to school, so that was great =D
Anyhoo the movie was released some time ago and went on to the top ten. My mom and I went and saw it the other day and I can't believe how visible I am! I thought I'd be blurred out somewhere in the background but I can really see me! I'm in two scene's, one of them I'm kinda in the background, the other one is a breakfast scene and the camera goes right in to my face so I'm right THERE for about five seconds. I know I was just an extra, and it's not really a big deal, but it was such a huge kick to see myself on the big screen, even if it was for a few seconds. My mom who was sitting next to me squized my arm and said: there you are!
