A/N: Wrote this when I really should've been doing school work, how come I always get the most inspiration to write when I don't really have the time? Oh well, I had not intended for this one to be this long, and the last 1700 words or so was not in the plan when I first started writing this XD Anyway, I hope you all will enjoy this yet again fluffy Akame story written by me ^^
The doorbell woke Jin up from his afternoon nap. He was still dead and tired after last night’s New Years Countdown and then the after party which most of the other Johnny’s idols had attended as well. It had been a good party but he had drunken way too much for his own well-being and was now paying for it. He had probably never been more thankful for not having any work on the first day of the New Year. The door bell rang again and Jin growled getting up slowly but before he had even managed to get out from the room he heard how the lock clicked open. He smiled for himself knowing that that it could only be one cute Idol with the name Kamenashi Kazuya who was paying him a visit. Of course it could’ve been Yamapi but he was probably at home sleeping off his own hang over just as Jin had been doing just a moment ago.
“Jin? Are you home?” Kame’s voice rang through the apartment.
“Yeah, I’m here” Jin smiled appearing in the doorway to his bedroom.
“Hi” Kame smiled back “How are you? Do you think you would manage to come out with me for a couple of hours?”
“Now?” Jin asked surprised walking up to Kame who was still standing by the front door all covered up in his winter coat, a thick knitted scarf and a hat.
“Yeah, or are you still feeling to hung over?” Kame asked as Jin placed a soft kiss on his cheek. “You drank quite a lot last night”
“No, I can come with you” Jin smiled stroking the cheek he had just kissed. “Just let me change clothes.” He backed off towards his bedroom not letting Kame go with his eyes. ”I’ll be back in a moment, make yourself at home”
“Okay” Kame nodded and then bent down to take of his shoes as Jin got back into his messy bedroom.
Jin searched for something that at least didn’t look dirty or smelt like sweat. He hadn’t done his laundry in a while so he didn’t have any completely clean clothes lying around. He found a green sweater and a pair of black jeans. He changed into them and threw last night’s party clothes into a pile on the floor and finished off with putting a new pair of socks that had been a Christmas present from his mother. He took a quick peek in the mirror. He looked pretty decent for someone who had been up drinking and celebrating the whole night until daybreak. He combed a hand through his hair before he emerged back out to Kame.
“So, I’m ready” Jin said as he found Kame sitting in the living room reading a magazine that had been lying around. He was still wearing his coat and scarf but had been wise enough to take of his hat and open the coat. Kame smiled putting down the magazine quickly and jumped up from the couch.
“Good” he said as he came up to Jin and grabbed a hold of his hand. “We have to hurry or we’ll miss it”
“Miss what?” Jin asked curious as Kame dragged him towards the front door.
“The time” Kame answered putting his winter boots back on. “Put your out gear on, hurry up”
Kame’s answer hadn’t made Jin any wiser but he did as he was told and quickly pulled on his winter clothes and grabbed his keys. He was really curious about where it was Kame was taking him.
Kame dragged him down the stairs as he got too impatient at the elevator that was taking far too long for Kame’s liking to arrive. Their steps echoed as they almost ran and Jin hoped that the noise didn’t disturb any of his neighbours. Kame’s car was parked just outside the building and when they reached it Jin noticed a couple of bags in the back seat. One of the bags seemed to be containing a bottle of wine of some kind. This made Jin even more curious about what his little boyfriend had planned for them to do. Kame checked that Jin had put on his seat belt before he started the car and drove off in a rush.
They drove for about 45 minutes and Kame kept on looking at the clock. He was obviously pretty stressed out for some reason that Jin still hadn’t figured out. He had tried to ask again about what they were going to do but Kame had just smiled at him. When Kame finally stopped the car they had arrived at an empty beach. It was dark outside; you could see the stars and the moon glistering in the sky and reflecting in the dark sea.
“Thank heavens we made it” Kame said getting out from the car and opened the door to the back seat. Jin got out from the car as well and walked around the car to get next to Kame.
“So what are we doing here?” Jin asked motioning with his hand towards the beach. “You’re not thinking about taking a swim are you?”
“No” Kame said handing Jin one of the plastic bags he retrieved from the car. “I’m not stupid you know. We’re going to celebrate New Year’s Eve”
“Huh?” Jin said confused as he grabbed the bag handed to him. “But New Years Eve was yesterday”
“Here in Japan yes, but the year 2010 haven’t started yet in California” Kame said “And I didn’t get to celebrate New Years the way I had wanted to last night” He pushed the car door closed and then locked the car. “So come on or we’ll miss the time. It’s almost 5pm” Kame started to walk closer to the sea and when he was just a few meters away he stopped putting down the plastic bag and pulled out a blanket together with a bottle of champagne and a couple of champagne glasses. Jin stared at him for a moment before he walked up to him with the other bag. Kame had spread out the blanket and seated himself on top of it. Jin dropped down next to him with the bag and opened it only to find there was what looked like a home baked cake in it.
“So this is how you wanted to celebrate last night?” Jin asked taking the cake out.
“Not really but this was the best I could come up with at last minute” Kame smiled checking the time on his wrist watch. “It’s almost time; just a minute left till the clock strikes midnight in California”
Kame moved himself closer to Jin and wrapped his arms around his waist.
“Let’s count down the seconds from 10” Kame said as Jin pushed the things aside and wrapped his arms around Kame’s smaller frame. Jin gave him an amused smile and nodded. Kame looked at his watch again.
“Okay, now” he said and they started to count down from 10 in a perfect harmony. They looked at each other while counting and when they reached 0 they both leaned in for a kiss.
“Happy new year” Kame smiled as they broke the kiss.
“Happy new year” Jin replied giving Kame another soft kiss and then rubbing their noses together. “You just wanted a new year’s kiss, didn’t you?”
“Yes” Kame blushed slightly. “And there was no chance I could get it last night what with the countdown. And since we just started this relationship I thought it would be extra necessary for us to share it. Call me suspicious or whatever but I’ll do anything for this to continue to work out”
“You’re so cute” Jin said wrapping his arms around Kame just a bit tighter and placed a kiss on the top of Kame’s head. “So how come you had to drag me all the way here and not just have the countdown at my place?”
“This is more romantic isn’t it?” Kame said turning head to face Jin.
“True, but it’s also so much colder” Jin said.
“Way to kill the mood” Kame chuckled as reached out to grab the champagne bottle.
“But it is cold” Jin said with a smile as he rubbed his hands together as he watched his boyfriend work with opening the bottle.
“Don’t worry” Kame said “I won’t keep you out here for too long. We’ll just have a glass of champagne and then we’ll head back, okay?”
Jin nodded and took a hold of the champagne glasses that he now noticed actually was made of plastic. With a loud popping sound the cork from the champagne flew off and landed in the ocean while the foam ran over and completely drenched Kame’s hands. They chuckled slightly as Jin held out the glasses for Kame to fill.
“Cheers and Happy New Year” Jin cheered as he held out his glass to clink it together with Kame’s.
“Happy New Year” Kame replied clinking his glass with Jin’s.
“May this year be filled with a lot of new experiences and fun events” Jin added before he put the glass to his mouth. Kame agreed with the statement by giving Jin a smile and a nod before he took a sip as well.
“So can we get back now? My butt is slowly starting to turn into an ice cube” Jin said after emptying the glass. “Let’s drink the rest of the champagne in my bathtub, we both will be in need of a hot bath when we get back or we’ll catch a cold”
“Sure” Kame said and chuckled when he saw Jin’s surprised expression. Jin hadn’t really thought that Kame would be up for taking a bath with him, well not this soon in their relationship. After all it was only a little more than a week ago since they shared their first kiss. Jin smiled at that memory.
“I hope you’ll have an extra pair of swimming trunks at home” Kame said getting up from the blanket.
“Huh?” Jin said confused.
“You don’t expect me to be naked do you?” Kame said as he carefully put the cake and the bottle into one of the plastic bags. Jin’s face fell slightly but then he smiled again of course they would take it slow. This was a relationship they both would work hard on, a relationship that they would make work no matter what would come in their way. It was a relationship made to last and for that they would need to take it slow and don’t rush things.
“I don’t” Jin said as Kame turned to look at him. “I thought that you would for a second but I’m not really disappointed to hear you’re not”
“Good” Kame smiled. “Now get up you lazy bum so that I can fold the blanket”
Jin did as he was told and then helped Kame fold the blanket nicely and then putting it into the other plastic bag. Then they walked hand in hand back towards the car while the stars were twinkling above them.
They were back in Jin’s apartment an hour later after a pleasant drive home in the dark. Kame put the cake into the fridge for them to have as dessert later while Jin was starting to prepare the bathtub. He was a little more careful this time not to pour in as much bubble bath as he had done a week ago at Kame’s place. He let the water run as he walked out from the bathroom to find where he had put his swiming trunks. When he walked into his bedroom he found that Kame was already there looking through his wardrobe.
“What are you doing?” Jin asked more amused than annoyed even though he didn’t like people going through his things. But then again Kame wasn’t just anyone, he was his boyfriend and that made it all okay for Jin.
“Looking for something to wear” Kame said simply turning his head to look at Jin. “Do you know how messy it is in here? And almost everything in here seems dirty, when was the last time you did the laundry?”
“Uh...” Jin started scratching the back of his head. “A while ago, haven’t had much time lately”
“Hmm...” Kame just answered as he got back to looking through Jin’s wardrobe. “I guess I’ll help you out with that later. I really can’t stand this mess”
“You act more and more like a girlfriend” Jin said walking up behind Kame and wrapped his arms around his waist.
“I chose to ignore that comment” Kame said leaning in slightly against Jin’s chest. “So, where do you keep your swimming trunks?”
“Somewhere” Jin said and nuzzled Kame’s neck and giving it butterfly kisses.
“Really helpful” Kame said and even though Jin couldn’t really see Kame’s face he knew that Kame was rolling his eyes at him.
“Maybe we should skip the bath and just make out instead” Jin suggested in a low and slow voice wrapping his arms around Kame just a little bit tighter. “That could warm our bodies up just as well, if not better than a bath”
“Hmm...” Kame stopped his searching and tilted his head slightly giving Jin better access to his neck. “But haven’t you already started to run the bath? Wouldn’t that be a waste of hot water if we didn’t use it?”
“I don’t care” Jin mumbled into Kame’s soft skin and made shivers run down Kame’s spine.
“Then if we’re going to do this shouldn’t you turn the water off?” Kame asked almost completely giving in to Jin.
“Shit” Jin hissed letting go of Kame and slightly startling him as he quickly exited the bedroom.
“Shit, crap, shit” Jin said as he got into the bathroom and saw how the bathtub was overflowing and water was running over the edges. He quickly made his way over to it, his socks getting wet and sticky. He reached for the tap and turned it off and then pulled out the plug.
“Causing a minor flooding?” Kame’s voice came from Jin’s behind and he turned around to face his boyfriend. He was still leaning over the bathtub one hand placed on the edge of the bathtub and the other on the wall.
“Yeah, I forgot about the water” he smiled sheepishly.
“Bakanishi” Kame said amused as he carefully walked closer trying not to wet his socks but failed.
“Don’t call me that” Jin pouted and tried to stand up straight but failed and instead slipped slightly with the arm he had leaned against the wall. He yelped in surprise as he fell forward and into the tub splashing water all over the place and on a surprised Kame. Jin had been lucky enough not to hit his head or any other body part in the fall. When they both got out of the slight shock they just stared at each other and then cracked out laughing. Kame laughed so hard that he had to sit down on the floor to prevent himself from falling and hurting himself.
Their hysterical laughter continued for a few minutes until it died down to just soft chuckles. Small tears had formed in the corners of Kame’s eyes and Jin thought that he looked just adorable like that. He felt kind of proud, even though it had been just by accident that he had been the one to make Kame laugh so hard. Kame moved from his place on the floor and got closer to the bathtub. He kneeled next to it and placed one of his elbows on the edge resting his head in his hand. He let the other hand trace the surface of the water softly as his eyes met Jin’s.
“Maybe I should join you in there” Kame smiled softly.
“Maybe you should” Jin said and grabbed a hold of Kame’s hand and tugged it slightly and getting the younger on out of balance. The elbow that had been resting on the edge slipped and Kame yelped as both his arms ended up in the water.
“Join me” Jin said still holding Kame’s hand and he tugged it again. Kame just smiled and then he crawled over the edge and landed on top of Jin as some more water ran over the edge.
Their faces was only inches apart but that distance was soon long gone as Kame leaned down and kissed Jin’s wet lips. Jin smiled into the kiss as his hand let go of Kame’s hand and joined his other hand with stroking Kame’s back in soft, sensual movements up and down the spine. Kame carefully opened his mouth and Jin got the hint letting his tongue slip into the others mouth and met Kame’s in a sensual dance. Kame whimpered slightly and his hands started to grip the front of Jin’s wet t-shirt. This was by far, Jin mused, the weirdest way he had ever made out with anyone before. Fully dressed in a bathtub filled with hot water. One of his hands found their way underneath Kame’s shirt and he started to stroke the soft skin. He felt how despite the hot water surrounding them Kame shivered at the touch. Jin let his lips wander down from Kame’s lips and down to his neck and started sucking it softly. He would’ve wanted to plant a mark on Kame’s soft skin but he knew that Kame wouldn’t appreciate it as much as him and especially not know when he was filming a drama.
Small moans of pleasure started to spill from Kame’s lips and it was like music in Jin’s ear. If this was how Kame sounded when they were merely making out then he couldn’t wait to hear how he sounded when they finally got to have sex. Kame’s hands found their ways up Jin’s body and his left hand started to play around in Jin’s now wet locks. The other one sneaked around Jin’s body and pulled him just a little bit closer and Jin let out a soft moan as he felt their groins flushed tighter together. He was turned on to the max and he could feel through their clothes that Kame was feeling just the same. Shame, he thought that Kame had sucha strong willpower and probably wouldn’t let things advance even more. Or maybe he would Jin thought as his lips found Kame’s again while he slowly; slowly he let one of his hands sneak down and land on top of Kame’s soft butt. Kame stilted slightly at the touch but didn’t break their contact and soon relaxed again. Jin got a bit braver and started to stroke and squeeze Kame slightly causing him to moan into their passionate lip lock. Jin loved the reaction he got and was just about to slip his hand into Kame’s jeans when Kame broke their kiss and sat up stranding Jin’s body. Jin got a bit surprised but that look soon disappeared as he took in the sight of Kame in front of him. The wet t-shirt clinging to Kame’s chest like a second skin and his equally wet hair was in a mess, some of it glued to his face. He licked his lips unconsciously and Kame smiled at him.
“I’m gonna go and make us some dinner” the younger one then said and got up from the water.
“Wha-what?” Jin said grabbing a hold off one of Kame’s leg as he sat up. “Why?”
“Cause I need to focus my thoughts on something else” Kame said trying to shake Jin’s hand off without losing balance.
“I know it might be kind of too soon for us to have se-, no, to make love” Jin said giving Kame a soft smile. “But don’t you think our year will be even better if we start it off with the ultimate action of love?” Even though Kame didn’t show any change of expression Jin could see how Kame was contemplating what he had just said. Jin waited patiently for Kame’s answer and after a couple of minutes of silence Kame gave him a soft smile. He grabbed a hold of the edge of his t-shirt and pulled it off over his head before he got back into the bathtub and Jin’s arms.
Later on Jin was lying on the couch in his living room wearing his favourite sweatpants and an old gray t-shirt while lazily watching TV. Kame was lying on his stomach next to Jin, clad in a pair of Jin’s really old sweat pants that Jin hadn’t been able to wear in years and a way too big t-shirt. Kame was holding a piece of the cake he had brought with him earlier on a plate and took turns in feeding Jin and himself with it. They were both wearing soft, satisfied smiles on their lips and the atmosphere in the room was warm and comfortable.
“You know I love you don’t you?” Jin suddenly said and it was the first time he had actually said those words to Kame.
“Yeah” Kame smiled putting the now empty plate on the table in front of the couch before he crawled up on top of Jin. He planted a soft kiss on Jin’s lips “I love you too” he then whispered before he gave Jin another kiss.
“Happy new year Kazu-chan” Jin said into the kiss and he felt how Kame smiled back at him before he depend the kiss. After a start like this the year could not be anything less than a good one for the both of them Jin thought just before he got totally lost in the man in his arms.

It was a relationship made to last and for that they would need to take it slow and don’t rush things.
“I don’t” Jin said as Kame turned to look at him. “I thought that you would for a second but I’m not really disappointed to hear you’re not”
“Good” Kame smiled. “Now get up you lazy bum so that I can fold the blanket”
Jin did as he was told and then helped Kame fold the blanket nicely and then putting it into the other plastic bag. Then they walked hand in hand back towards the car while the stars were twinkling above them.
They were back in Jin’s apartment an hour later after a pleasant drive home in the dark. Kame put the cake into the fridge for them to have as dessert later while Jin was starting to prepare the bathtub. He was a little more careful this time not to pour in as much bubble bath as he had done a week ago at Kame’s place. He let the water run as he walked out from the bathroom to find where he had put his swiming trunks. When he walked into his bedroom he found that Kame was already there looking through his wardrobe.
“What are you doing?” Jin asked more amused than annoyed even though he didn’t like people going through his things. But then again Kame wasn’t just anyone, he was his boyfriend and that made it all okay for Jin.
“Looking for something to wear” Kame said simply turning his head to look at Jin. “Do you know how messy it is in here? And almost everything in here seems dirty, when was the last time you did the laundry?”
“Uh...” Jin started scratching the back of his head. “A while ago, haven’t had much time lately”
“Hmm...” Kame just answered as he got back to looking through Jin’s wardrobe. “I guess I’ll help you out with that later. I really can’t stand this mess”
“You act more and more like a girlfriend” Jin said walking up behind Kame and wrapped his arms around his waist.
“I chose to ignore that comment” Kame said leaning in slightly against Jin’s chest. “So, where do you keep your swimming trunks?”
“Somewhere” Jin said and nuzzled Kame’s neck and giving it butterfly kisses.
“Really helpful” Kame said and even though Jin couldn’t really see Kame’s face he knew that Kame was rolling his eyes at him.
“Maybe we should skip the bath and just make out instead” Jin suggested in a low and slow voice wrapping his arms around Kame just a little bit tighter. “That could warm our bodies up just as well, if not better than a bath”
“Hmm...” Kame stopped his searching and tilted his head slightly giving Jin better access to his neck. “But haven’t you already started to run the bath? Wouldn’t that be a waste of hot water if we didn’t use it?”
“I don’t care” Jin mumbled into Kame’s soft skin and made shivers run down Kame’s spine.
“Then if we’re going to do this shouldn’t you turn the water off?” Kame asked almost completely giving in to Jin.
“Shit” Jin hissed letting go of Kame and slightly startling him as he quickly exited the bedroom.
“Shit, crap, shit” Jin said as he got into the bathroom and saw how the bathtub was overflowing and water was running over the edges. He quickly made his way over to it, his socks getting wet and sticky. He reached for the tap and turned it off and then pulled out the plug.
“Causing a minor flooding?” Kame’s voice came from Jin’s behind and he turned around to face his boyfriend. He was still leaning over the bathtub one hand placed on the edge of the bathtub and the other on the wall.
“Yeah, I forgot about the water” he smiled sheepishly.
“Bakanishi” Kame said amused as he carefully walked closer trying not to wet his socks but failed.
“Don’t call me that” Jin pouted and tried to stand up straight but failed and instead slipped slightly with the arm he had leaned against the wall. He yelped in surprise as he fell forward and into the tub splashing water all over the place and on a surprised Kame. Jin had been lucky enough not to hit his head or any other body part in the fall. When they both got out of the slight shock they just stared at each other and then cracked out laughing. Kame laughed so hard that he had to sit down on the floor to prevent himself from falling and hurting himself.
Their hysterical laughter continued for a few minutes until it died down to just soft chuckles. Small tears had formed in the corners of Kame’s eyes and Jin thought that he looked just adorable like that. He felt kind of proud, even though it had been just by accident that he had been the one to make Kame laugh so hard. Kame moved from his place on the floor and got closer to the bathtub. He kneeled next to it and placed one of his elbows on the edge resting his head in his hand. He let the other hand trace the surface of the water softly as his eyes met Jin’s.
“Maybe I should join you in there” Kame smiled softly.
“Maybe you should” Jin said and grabbed a hold of Kame’s hand and tugged it slightly and getting the younger on out of balance. The elbow that had been resting on the edge slipped and Kame yelped as both his arms ended up in the water.
“Join me” Jin said still holding Kame’s hand and he tugged it again. Kame just smiled and then he crawled over the edge and landed on top of Jin as some more water ran over the edge.
Their faces was only inches apart but that distance was soon long gone as Kame leaned down and kissed Jin’s wet lips. Jin smiled into the kiss as his hand let go of Kame’s hand and joined his other hand with stroking Kame’s back in soft, sensual movements up and down the spine. Kame carefully opened his mouth and Jin got the hint letting his tongue slip into the others mouth and met Kame’s in a sensual dance. Kame whimpered slightly and his hands started to grip the front of Jin’s wet t-shirt. This was by far, Jin mused, the weirdest way he had ever made out with anyone before. Fully dressed in a bathtub filled with hot water. One of his hands found their way underneath Kame’s shirt and he started to stroke the soft skin. He felt how despite the hot water surrounding them Kame shivered at the touch. Jin let his lips wander down from Kame’s lips and down to his neck and started sucking it softly. He would’ve wanted to plant a mark on Kame’s soft skin but he knew that Kame wouldn’t appreciate it as much as him and especially not know when he was filming a drama.
Small moans of pleasure started to spill from Kame’s lips and it was like music in Jin’s ear. If this was how Kame sounded when they were merely making out then he couldn’t wait to hear how he sounded when they finally got to have sex. Kame’s hands found their ways up Jin’s body and his left hand started to play around in Jin’s now wet locks. The other one sneaked around Jin’s body and pulled him just a little bit closer and Jin let out a soft moan as he felt their groins flushed tighter together. He was turned on to the max and he could feel through their clothes that Kame was feeling just the same. Shame, he thought that Kame had sucha strong willpower and probably wouldn’t let things advance even more. Or maybe he would Jin thought as his lips found Kame’s again while he slowly; slowly he let one of his hands sneak down and land on top of Kame’s soft butt. Kame stilted slightly at the touch but didn’t break their contact and soon relaxed again. Jin got a bit braver and started to stroke and squeeze Kame slightly causing him to moan into their passionate lip lock. Jin loved the reaction he got and was just about to slip his hand into Kame’s jeans when Kame broke their kiss and sat up stranding Jin’s body. Jin got a bit surprised but that look soon disappeared as he took in the sight of Kame in front of him. The wet t-shirt clinging to Kame’s chest like a second skin and his equally wet hair was in a mess, some of it glued to his face. He licked his lips unconsciously and Kame smiled at him.
“I’m gonna go and make us some dinner” the younger one then said and got up from the water.
“Wha-what?” Jin said grabbing a hold off one of Kame’s leg as he sat up. “Why?”
“Cause I need to focus my thoughts on something else” Kame said trying to shake Jin’s hand off without losing balance.
“I know it might be kind of too soon for us to have se-, no, to make love” Jin said giving Kame a soft smile. “But don’t you think our year will be even better if we start it off with the ultimate action of love?” Even though Kame didn’t show any change of expression Jin could see how Kame was contemplating what he had just said. Jin waited patiently for Kame’s answer and after a couple of minutes of silence Kame gave him a soft smile. He grabbed a hold of the edge of his t-shirt and pulled it off over his head before he got back into the bathtub and Jin’s arms.
Later on Jin was lying on the couch in his living room wearing his favourite sweatpants and an old gray t-shirt while lazily watching TV. Kame was lying on his stomach next to Jin, clad in a pair of Jin’s really old sweat pants that Jin hadn’t been able to wear in years and a way too big t-shirt. Kame was holding a piece of the cake he had brought with him earlier on a plate and took turns in feeding Jin and himself with it. They were both wearing soft, satisfied smiles on their lips and the atmosphere in the room was warm and comfortable.
“You know I love you don’t you?” Jin suddenly said and it was the first time he had actually said those words to Kame.
“Yeah” Kame smiled putting the now empty plate on the table in front of the couch before he crawled up on top of Jin. He planted a soft kiss on Jin’s lips “I love you too” he then whispered before he gave Jin another kiss.
“Happy new year Kazu-chan” Jin said into the kiss and he felt how Kame smiled back at him before he depend the kiss. After a start like this the year could not be anything less than a good one for the both of them Jin thought just before he got totally lost in the man in his arms.
