I still am
Haven't made much of a fuzz here in a while, have I?
Well, I am still in the land of the living, although that time is mostly spent at work. And, sometimes spent in the virtual world of Norrath in Everquest 2 and hopefully very soon in the Age of Conan.
And sometimes, when I am lucky, I manage to set up a coffee date with a good and dear friend, like
oakfairy! We've talked about getting together just her and me for such a long time now and then we're both to busy to make it happen. And by chance, when making a phone call at work, I suddenly heard her voice on the phone. That not only gave me a silly grin for the rest of that day, we also managed to make plans!
So today after work we cosied up at a favourite café talking about life and work and old friends. She is one of those remarkable friends that you can pick up a conversation with after not seeing each other for months and still have a feeling to be in the middle of it from last time. She is such a gentle soul, dear 'fairy. And she makes shady oaks and leafy greens grow in mine.
