Ah fkjdghfdkg, I move into college in less than 9 hours and I still need to finish my summer reading. D:
Things I have learned:
1. Never ever do an online course.
2. I love Little League baseball. I could write a 10-page essay on why I do. Especially the Little League World Series. It's been a while since I felt so undeniably inspired and entertained. Watching the kids play their hearts out, for the pure joy of the game, with this amazing sportsmanship. Oh, I can't describe it. It was magical.
Besides that, it felt like each team could very easily star in their own sports manga. Hahaha. I definitely rooted for Canada, New England, Curacao, Taiwan, and Japan. New England only because the town next to where I've been staying/working represented us. But man, I feel so empty now that I don't have a Little League game to look forward to.
3. Cleaning and packing for college is such a hassle.
4. Fate is cruel. I somehow got placed in an acting class. The quiet, stuttering girl with articulation problems in an acting class. Awesome.
5. My grandpa was really badass. It's sad to hear about your grandparents badass history after they pass away. Apparently, he studied abroad in Japan for some time when Korea was still under Japan's rule. He worked with student activist groups that fought for Korea's freedom and got jailed for it. The ticket to his freedom? Getting horribly sick. I never would have guessed it about him. He was always so quiet and I guess, meek.
Mm, this whole college business is nerve-wracking.
