After hounding us about all the things we didn't send him for our credit and background check because he'd neglected to tell us in the first place that he needed all these things, the asshole landlord of the perfect apartment rented it to someone else. Now we're back to square one and I have two definite and two pending appointments to see apartments in an area I don't much care for but am desperate enough to see in Brooklyn. The upside is that one of these apartments is about two blocks away from Cai, Sam, and Billy's place, formerly Christie and Pern's place. And that's kinda cool. I'd really like to not have to be worrying about finding a place in a week, though. I basically have to find it this week and settle everything, because I'm going to Ithaca this weekend and then we basically have to move when I get back. Not the kind of stress I want to be dealing with.
