we went camping.

on our way up the mountian we stopped at a movie theather in hemit.
next to the theater was this walmart.
how do you know when the town you live in is shit?
- when they cant even keep the walmart open.
once we got to idyllwild we stopped at the fairway market.
they've stayed in business cause they've got stubbs.
the market smelled funny, so taylor and i stayed outside.
and entertained ourselves.
when we got to the campsite, taylor started to chop wood.
and his mommy made us food.
and jon tried to sharpen the UNO penicl with a knife.
we played alot of uno. i was the champ tho...
but jess didn't play with us.
at nite we made smores!!

and in the morning we brushed our teeth in our pj's.
it was fucking cold as hell.
then for the rest of the day we took pictures.
...and went on hikes.
we went on a 7 mile hike to this place called "saw mill flats."
i pretty much wanted to die.
it was all up hill, and really hot in the sun.
we took a lot of breaks...
and taylor climbed some trees.
and we took pictures of the trees.
and of our shawdows.
after the hike, all i wanted to do was sleep.
and eat and sleep.
taylor likes "secret eating"
and playing with the lantern.
our tent didn't have a rain fly, so we pretty much slept under a blanket of mesh.
great for changing clothes.
and even better for sleeping.
