it's not the endpoint, but the journey that makes it all worth while.
the truth of this statement is only too perfect for the description of my first year of college.
This year, i started off lost at a giant university. Knowing only a few, trusting less.
My first semester was one of insanity. The things I did, the things i witnessed pushed me towards the edge.
My first college semester was one of extremes. I pushed myself to the edge. And I survived.
Joining a Fraternity steadied my life out. I quickly found something that i can be passionate about and make a difference in. Joined the cycling team, got my exercise in. I am so happy that the work i have put in is being recognized. My faith and my love for my brothers has carried me through my first year of college.
I am so proud that i have scaled the ranks of the inner fraternity within my first year. I am so happy I am a Lambda Chi. Knowing that i now I have personal connections with over 270,000 more people in America and Canada. With a shake of the hand, an instant bond. It's amazing to be apart of something so large. If you know where to look, there are signs everywhere. Whether it be a song on the radio or the architecture of buildings.
I can't believe its over but is also just beginning.
If you're idle, you allow time to pass you, but if youre active, you pass the time.
