just continuing to try, to veer up, to make things better in my little ways.
trying to reconceptualize the way i occupy my house - in a big way i realized i should claim seniority and jump on the room that opened up that is small but not horribly small and has a huge balcony/sun porch off of it. um yeah? and faces south and is full of sunshine whereas my room at the other side of the house faces north and the huge windows don't get any direct light. moving to plant heaven! so i'm headed to the mall called emeryville to get a frame for my bed so i can store stuff under it, and interviewed two people yesterday and two more today for my big, expensive room. april rent will be about $200 less than dec-march and that's exciting. spent some time cleaning, rolling my eyes at my roommates (second time i have found a bowl of something pudding like in a drawer in the kitchen??!? is this some weird drug thing i don't know about??), and resolving to cook more. this room is also off the kitchen and bathroom so no more long stumbling trips in the dark across the house to pee (no more debating whether a chamber pot could be made modern haha). i'm sure there will be more noise in the kitchen but no more will people wake me up by banging on my bedroom window. good. and then saving money so that someday, with my future girlfriend, san francisco will be within reach.
jason got a puppy. he's pretty fucking cute.
meghan broke up and i went over and watched ANTM with her and it was SOOO GOOD i really have to get tv back in to my life someday.
julia made it work! and became heroic in my eyes.
work has supposedly been hectic but none of it touches me so far.
seeeer iiii ooooou slyyyyy i cannot wait for denver. train is booked, i'll get a flight soon, and then in weeks i'll be hugging my mom and you and d'corazon.
