Valentine's day started early for me...
I had a wonderful Valentine's Day...ok so the day isn't over yet, but it also (for me) started yesterday. You know there are times when Chris can be a pain, but I love him and he can be so sweet sometimes. I won't go into all of the details except for the one major one.
See he decided he wanted to give me the gifts yesterday since he has to work late today and I hurt my foot somehow so we couldn't really go anywhere. Anyhoo, so I'm lying in bed when he comes in with a bouquet of 11 roses (the 12th one was used later just chill a moment and i'll get to it hehe). He also hands me some chocolate, a bag that was to be opened later, and one of those big Valentine cards. Then finally he hands me a single rose. Now for anyone whose seen the movie Phantom of the Opera and who know me, you'll understand the significance of this. Tied around this rose was a black ribbon and in the black ribbon was a diamond ring. Now let me clarify something before you freak out...this was not an engagement ring and I am not...I repeat...NOT engaged. He put it on my finger and told me to think of it as a promise ring. It is very pretty and that whole rose and ribbon and ring thing just kind of left me speechless. Even today I am still at a loss for words. So yeah that was how my Valentine's Day began. What do you think? Not too shabby huh?
