Delirium Des Anges: It was a beautiful day in London with the apple trees sparkling under the rosy sunlight. Kirill skipped happily through Hyde Park with his mane glistening (he had just had it brushed! And now it was silky and smooth), pausing only to pick daffodils and smile at passing butterflies.
Jess: ... what have you wrought

Jess: I bet Kirill straighens his mane, because he is too vain to let it curl naturally

Delirium Des Anges: It was such a perfect day. He waved hello to Mr Azim and to all the pretty girl ponies hanging out by the pony pole, and scooped up so many flowers that he was almost exhausted with carrying them!

Delirium Des Anges: Kirill was happy because today he was going to visit his daddy, King Semyon, at the special restaurant his kindly father ran. Kirill loved to help his daddy prepare for all the wonderful parties he hosted.
Jess: I feel this huge sense of forboding
Jess: like this is going to turn really ugly
Jess: or maybe it will just be unsettling

Delirium Des Anges: On the way to his daddy's restaurant he met his best friend, Kolya! Kolya was a big pony with lots and lots of cutie marks, and he liked to wear sunglasses all the time. Kirill was very happy, because days he spent with Kolya were the most fun! Sometimes they would hang out with the pretty girl ponies at the pony pole, sometimes they would drink milkshakes together.
Jess: LOTS AND LOTS OF CUTIE MARKS hahahaha

Delirium Des Anges: Today Kolya was doing a little errand for Mr Azim, because Kolya loved to be helpful. It was one of the things that made everyone like him so much.

Delirium Des Anges: "What have you got there?" Kolya asked, prancing alongside Kirill.
Jess: possible because he's at least a sober pony
Jess: PRANCING
Delirium Des Anges: "I have daffodils for my father!" Kirill said, displaying the hundreds of yellow flowers proudly. "He will be so pleased that I have brought decorations to the party."
Jess: oh Kirill pony your wholesome helpfulness is terrifying
Delirium Des Anges: Kolya was carrying a big bundle across his back.
Delirium Des Anges: "What have you got there, Kolya?" Kirill asked. "Is it more treats for the party?"
Jess: ... it is pretty pink pony peices isn't it

Delirium Des Anges: "It's a surprise!" said Kolya, winking over his sunglasses. "Mr Azim has asked me to give it to King Semyon in private."
Delirium Des Anges: "Oh, please let me see," Kirill begged, "I promise I won't tell him."
Jess: KIRILL YOUR PONY INNOCENCE MAY BE RUINED BY THIS
Jess: this is actually genuinely disturbing just so you know ahahaha
Delirium Des Anges: "Well okay," says Kolya, "but you really mustn't tell anyone you've seen what it is, or I shall get into trouble"
Delirium Des Anges: whoops, changed tense there
Delirium Des Anges: "I promise," Kirill said, and he would have crossed his heart too if he wasn't carrying so many flowers. Sometimes Kirill was clumsy and dropped things, and he hated to make his father sad by dropping decorations like that, so he didn't try to cross his heart this time.
Jess: oh god pony Kirill
Delirium Des Anges: Together they untied the top of the bundle, and Kirill peaked inside.
Delirium Des Anges: "Oh," he said, relieved that he already knew the secret, "Whoops-a-daisy, silly Soyka. Daddy will be pleased."
Jess: WHOOPS A DAISY
Delirium Des Anges: "Shh," Kolya reminded him, tapping the side of his nose with his hoof, "it's a surprise!"
Delirium Des Anges: And Kirill and Kolya skipped on together through the park. Soyka had been a very naughty pony, and Kolya said he had often said very mean things to people about Kirill, which hurt Kirill's feelings.
Jess: DA, DA KIRILL PONY. DON'T PRANCE SO EXCITED, HE WILL GUESS. haha... awww???
Delirium Des Anges: When they got to the restaurant it was full of balloons! It looked very pretty and Kirill knew that the party must be an important one. He asked Kolya to help him tidy his mane and tail up before going inside because King Semyon didn't like it when Kirill was all messy.
Delirium Des Anges: King Semyon was very busy, so Kolya went to the cellar to put his surprise away somewhere safe, and Kirill started to lay out the daffodils. Soon they would show the King his special surprise and he would be so happy! Kirill couldn't wait.
