Lukey has an ice cream cone. It's blue. He licks it, then holds it out. Maybe the lady wants some!

"Like blue milk!"

"Which is disgusting." Mara reminds him, her nose crinkling. Eugh, Luke was even worse as a child.

"No," Lukey says, very confused. "Daddy uses tools. Like hydrospanners."

"De-ni-al," Lukey echoes, considering the new word while peering at this tall, shiny version of his father. "What's that?"

Rather than replying, Vader leaned down and grabbed the small child by the collar of his shirt.

This simpleton...was known to him, somehow.

Lukey is fairly used to being carried in this manner. He merely blinks and twists his arm slightly so he can lick his ice cream.

"Who are you?" Vader demands, shaking the child with each word. "How has a presence of your strength eluded the Emperor for so long?"
