I'm honored to hear that. She was an amazing woman...and my father was as well. Misguided but a great man. The one who taught me redemption is never beyond reach.

I did know her, for one brief and shining moment I knew the love and beauty of her. It took me longer to accept you though, to even believe you could be different than you are now.

Luke always believed, he had more faith than I could have imagined. But he was right, in the end of things he was right.

Your destiny does not end with this father, there is so much yet to learn, I can not change you, no more than you could change me. But in the fullness of time you will see the truth of it. The soul of goodness has not left you.

Luke's feelings are mistaken. He is misguided by his own heart and he will die unless he chooses to follow in my footsteps.
