The wedding went off well. During rehearsal, our problem was timing, so I had to concentrate on walking kind of slow and not looking down. The photographer my sister hired took a lot of pictures and I got bit twice in the park. I got some pictures on my camera before the wedding but was kind of busy afterwards. Tom took pictures on his. I didn't cry at all during the ceremony but my mom sobbed. I started to tear up during my toast and Steph, who was standing right next to me, starts making comments. So, as I am giving my toast, Steph says things like "I don't believe you." "Why are you crying?" "I can't believe you're actually crying." I have to actually stop and tell her to shut up, and she keeps going. She threw me off so much that I forgot my last line. I wasn't very happy.
I had taken a vacation day for the next day and ended up running errands and helping my mom out. In the evening I had a check-up with my new doctor and I got three prescriptions. I told him that I still get these pains in my chest and along the sides of my throat that I've had since I was a kid. I don't know what sets them off, it's a dull ache that usually starts in the center of my chest. He said it doesn't sound like heart disease, so he prescribes me a slow release heart burn pill. He gave me a corticosteroid nasal spray because my nasal sinuses are swollen and he gave me Singulair. He also gave me a card for an ENT. I have to set up an appointment but I can only call during my lunch and unless I take a day off I have to go on a Wednesday. Right now my ear hurts and feels swollen on the inside.
Wednesday I went to the Marc Broussard concert with Tom. As good as he sounds on cd, he sounds sooo much better live. And he kind of looks like Kiefer Sutherland now. I had such a good time. And when we left we saw him signing autographs. Our table inside was right against the stage but leaving, we weren't but a foot from him. Tom tried to unwrap the cds so Marc could sing them, even though I didn't want to bug him. Marc ended up leaving right after that anyway.
Saturday we had my Grandma's birthday party at Anya's house. Anya bought a dog on her honeymoon so everyone was playing wiffle ball, playing with the dog and playing bocce ball. We all had a nice time.
Today Mom, Steph, Anya, Josh, Tom and I went to the zoo near the Columbus market. Right now I am doing laundry at Mom's and Tom is watching the game at his house. He's trying to mold me into the kind of girl that wears a jersey just because the eagles are playing that day. He's expecting me to get really excited for a game we're going to in which we're going to stand for 3 hours. I try to explain to him that that's not happening but I don't think he gets it. I'm all for home teams and whatnot but I'm not wearing the jersey unless we're at an official Eagles function and the weather permits it.
