• I am alive and doing quite well for the most part. The changes are coming along quite well. I will have more to discuss on the topic in a little while.
• I have a couple of mix projects I'm working on right now, the one closest completion is yet another revision on a familiar favorite, but with a few new ideas that I believe will make for a more satisfying listen.
  
  
  


• If you for some reason feel the need to see the remake of Clash of the Titans, for the love of Laurence Olivier's Zeus do not see it in 3-D; It just makes the movie out-of-focus. I would actually recommend you avoid seeing the movie entirely, but I understand firsthand how well one's nostalgia can overwhelm one's higher judgment in a case like this.
  
  The original Clash of the Titans was not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination - it was the last gasp of a great artist whose time was already past - but it at least had production values, including some amiable characters and a decent script that combined a few myths but actually made sense.
  
  It goes without saying that Ramin Djawadi's bland score has no personality whatsoever and can't hold a candle to Laurence Rosenthal's glorious tapestry for the original, a chock full of colorful themes and motives played with great aplomb by the great London Symphony Orchestra. This aspect of the film is all the more disappointing given that The Incredible Hulk, Louis Leterrier's previous film, sported a wonderfully emotional, thematically-driven score by Craig Armstrong.
