Mid-Atlantic. This is what everyone calls a Philadelphia accent although it's also the accent of south Jersey, Baltimore, and Wilmington. Well, everyone that lives near there, that is. Outsiders can tell you talk differently from them even though they can't tell what your accent is.

This weekend wasn't just cool in terms of the much-needed Connecticut trip, but also on several other fronts. As far as movies are concerned, Throne of Blood was viewed on Friday night, and a Martin Scorsese double feature consisting of Goodfellas and The Departed. Food-wise, Dan cooked a very nice pasta and sausage dish on Saturday, which was supplemented by several delicious cheeses (including a super sharp cheddar) and bleu-cheese stuffed olives. Last night my family and I went out for Indian food for Zach's birthday, and we found a very nice new place on Jericho Turnpike, where the tamarind sauce is most delicious.
