Ren Faire
Yesterday, I went to the Renaissance Faire in Gig Harbor. That’s always a good time. I got to hear James the Obscure, one of the best storytellers ever. He’s this old guy that’s there every year, just telling stories. Anyway, I got to talk to him afterwards, and it turns out he was a teacher and a librarian. He talked with me for a while about the importance of folktales and stories, and invited me to hang with him later. Sadly, I had to go, but I’m gonna try and make it back next weekend. He said he had something he wanted to give me, so I’m curious and flattered.
