I just realized something
Every person who has played a paladin in D&D seriously (as opposed to playing with the class) has been on some fundamental level a boring person. Although tiresome might be a better word.
I have only seen two people play bards: one is me and one is one of my best friends.
I am the only person I know who has played a sorcerer.
I am also the only person I can think of who's played a cleric as the typical healing sponge. And I've done that twice. And enjoyed it every time.
I never quite got over the death of my first character. I'm not sure if it shows in the characters I play.
