2. “They say that every man has a price at which he'll do anything. I'd like to think it's the other way around. Every man has a line - a line he won't cross over, no matter what the cost.”

There is a choice to be made, for the first time she holds the balance of her future in her hands and rotted though her brain is she can still feel how much this means.

She could change the universe, crush the petty humans, restore her body and give herself freedom… All it would take is one squeeze of her fist and then everything would be over, everything would be right… So why is she just standing here like somebody is pointing a gun at her head?

The Earth is pointless, a little dot in the universe as a whole, a measly scrap that almost deserves to be crushed into oblivion… But there is a problem, because at this point she is starting to see the truth of things, how deep down the demons and the humans are exactly the same, both can be evil but both can love with startling intensity.

She didn’t understand before, but now she does and now… Now there is a line, a line which exists only within her but is still just as important as if it were a real boundary with a barbed wire fence.

The question really is… Is the line worth crossing? Is it worth giving up all her new knowledge just to be perfect again? is it?

She doesn’t know anymore, she just doesn’t know.
