I sat on a bench outside the Humanities building from the time I got out of class at 1 and read The Namesake until 3. He never appeared, so I didn't get to talk to him. Monday, for sure.
I had an Archaeology midterm today, which went really well. I studied really hard, making flash cards and writing practice essays. The work I'm putting into classes this semester is really paying off. I've been getting A's on all things, which is immensely satisfying, and does wonders for the ego and confidence. I memorized dates, details about what makes up the different architectural orders, the evolution of Greek sculpture, art periods, archaeological sites, kings, capitols, korai, severe style, geometric style, etc. etc. It goes on and on, the things I now know. Just as a warning to all, I may try to work my newfound genius into conversations. It won't make sense. But you'll all learn a fact or two about Archaic/Classical Greek material culture by the time I'm through with you.
...oh god, it's three o'clock. Sleep is happening, so much.
