My piano recitals went splendidly! I actually really enjoyed them. I played well and relaxed up in front there. I played "Poem Idellica" by Howard Hanson and "Cat and Mouse" by Aaron Copland. Both pieces tend to suck me in, so when I play I put a lot of expression into them. It helps distract from the whole audience thing, lol. But for the most part, I was excited to be playing for this group. I wanted to show these people the creativity in them, the imagery, and the swells and falls of emotion. I think, for the most part, I did.
So, my friend
spicyhippofood is desperate for fellow ELP lovers. Haha, so we set up a lolarious ELP comm. It's
elp_me, if you are so intrigued. Lol, the inside jokes are already spawning. :P
I really, really don't want to go to school tomorrow. I have to write a whole Canterbury tale by Tuesday, along with a track meet on Tuesday...BUT at least we have Thursday and Friday off. *phew*
