I've discovered there's a name for the genre of music I've recently been digging. It's supposedly 'New Weird America". Basically, it's neo-sixties with a bunch of focus on folk and psychedelic rock. I dunno, I love music that paints you inside an atmosphere, but it seems that most of the music like that is classified as "trippy". I don't mind. It's stellar stuff. ^^

Oh man, I love psychology. I think it's utterly fascinating. But, then again, I think many things are fascinating. Freud had some weird thoughts, but it's interesting to see where he's coming from with it. I can't wait to take a psych class in college!
And there's this awesome music meme, where people are going ballistic posting Christmas music. This will get me into the season. No Bah Humbugging allowed! (I have been Bah Humbugging recently because they're destroying my extended Thanksgiving appreciation time. Christmas season starts Dec 1, mate.)
I've started writing out my Christmas list, though. My mom always tells me to write out one. Mostly, I just want money with a little card that says "for shopping in the city" or "for used book stores" or something like that. The things I want are kinda hard to find, you know. It's not like you can prance into Walmart and get Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii (which, btw, is on my list ^^). I do want a turntable. I need to bolster my vinyl collection, too. Aha, then there's the green pea coat that I want, which I saw on the mannequin and in a commercial, but seems to be nowhere else.
