They say it's your birthday *sings guitar part*

Yeah, I'm finally a year older and it's just another day. I'm losing sentimentality in pretty much everything these days. Nothing is ever as perfect as you dream it. You just have to be satisfied with what it is. I think if more people realised that, there'd be a lot less trouble with relationships.

I got the new Harry Potter book in the mail this morning. I read it for a bit and I'm about 250 pages in. Curse you, Rowling, it's an enticing read. :P There's so much action in this one, man. Harry, I still don't like you, but the book series has been redeemed. No spoilers from me, though, I promise. Anyways, I had yet to see the new Harry Potter movie, so we went and saw that (with about 3 other people in the theater). It was much better than any of the other movies so far, so that was good. And it was a nice refresher for me, as I haven't even touched one of the books since the week the sixth one came out. I'm not much of a rereader. I read it to know the ending. So don't you dare spoil the ending...or else I won't read it. ;) Heh heh.

Thing I'm most excited about? The Bob Dylan concert! That's my big present, along with that camera I got before my trip. And today I got little gifts, like t-shirts (one with a guitar on it, posiitioned so it looks like you're playing it) and chocolate. Oo, and money. ^^ That's going toward CDs, assuradely. What I'm also looking forward to is on Thursday, when our exchange students leave. It's not that I don't like them, it's that they're staying in the room with my computer in it. So, I've been estranged from my photoshop, my photo uploading ability, changing my music on my MP3, printing out guitar tabs, ripping/burning CDs, downloading/uploading music, etc. Yeah, I'm missing all that beaucoup, trop beaucoup. I took a bunch of pictures with my jelly beans the day we went to the jelly belly factory. ^^ And I still need to take pictures of my little wooden friend. He's one of those poseable dolls that they use as a sketch referance, you know? I crocheted him a scarf and made him a pair of red shades from a twist-tye and red cellophane. ^^ He's a stylin' little guy, lemmie tell you. I think I should retry making him shades, this time with a paper clip. It'll stay better that way. Haha, I have more fun with that thing than is healthy. ;)
