Merry Crimble and a Very New Year!!
I'm waiting for Christmas Dinner right now...mmm, steak.
So, I got my white Strat! It's double coil and uber fancy. My parents even got me a stand and an amp and stuffs.
I also got some headbands, a Bob Dylan CD, a black and red floral kimono tunic dress thingie, Artemis Fowl books (I know, I'm so behind), a book of sheet music/guitar chords "best of the 70s", a guitar t-shirt, money (heehee), Tika Messala sauce (for making my favorite Indian dish- Chicken Tika Messala), black liquid eyeliner, and hot red lipstick.
I was jamming all day, mostly to songs from Help!. "I Need You" and "The Night Before" are infectious to play! And of course, to play with my amp's settings, I played "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd. It's the perfect song to test the metal, reverb, and echo settings! I love playing the electric because the bar chords are way easier! ^^
Anyways, tomorrow's my brother's birthday, so he's still dreaming up all the things he didn't get. He was playing his new Battlefield game all today while we fussed with my parents' gifts (setting em up and so forth). Then, he went outside to shoot his new airsoft gun and play his new electric guitar. At one point today he asked me to teach him, so I handed him "Time of Your Life" by Green Day and showed him what the chords were. He wanted to practice a bit, so I just left him to it. I really hope he sticks to playing it! Then we can play "And Your Bird Can Sing" together! ^^
