*sigh* It's another day and I'm feeling slightly better. Maybe it's because I have Paul McCartney's singing in my speakers. Computer speakers, not MP3...sadly.
Tennis went well. We played against an all girls Catholic school. They weren't all that hard. I think all our team beat them except for second doubles. So, that's good. But, the car ride back and dinner on the way was fun! My friends and I were reeeeaally hyper. Now my friend's the "women farmer eunech nun". ^^ LOL. She was saying "I'm a women" and another girl misgeard her as saying "I'm a eunech" LOL. We were laughing our heads off.
I can't IMAGINE going to an all girls school! That'd stink. Can you imagine all the drama? Plus, there's nobody to stare at in class when you're bored. (pro or con, you decide) It makes me appreciate my school so much more. Their campus was amazing, though. It used to be some rich guy's mansion! I want to live there! I want a purdy mansion! My friend's church (that her dad's the pastor of) used to be a mansion too. I dunno what's up with all these mansions becoming other things. I think they should give them to really cool gals (aka: me). lol, a girl can dream, can't she?
Anyways, homework's not looking horribly horrible tonight. *sigh* Just a deep breath and I can survive Junior year. I think I'll watch Help! tonight to clear some mindspace.
Oh! My history teacher gave a shoutout to the Beatles. ^^ He was talking about how before there were African slaves, Africans had come to America with British names and made a good living. He said "Anthony, that doesn't sound like the name of someone from Ghanda. That sounds like someone living in Liverpool. For all you Beatles fans out there." *stare and my friend and I* *continues lecture* You see, he was our French teacher last year and we had a small class. Our whole "Frenchie" group got to know each other pretty well, including the teacher. lol
Ta!
