I love how I have a final tomorrow and all I can do is watch Pete Seeger's show "Rainbow Quest" on youtube. I *did* study/mess around for about four hours with some friends at the library though. That can't count for naught.

Buffy Sainte-Marie
Mariee Sioux really reminds me of her. Buffy is genius and comes from a native american tradition as well. There's even a clip of her singing an old western/cowboy song on a 70s episode of Sesame Street! And the mouth bow she plays is incredible!
Elizabeth Cotten
I love how Pete makes you sing along! And Elizabeth's brilliant fingerpicking is simply mind blowing. I've been listening to her album "Shake Sugaree" and I've been in awe all the way through it.
MAN I COULD WATCH PETE SEEGER'S FOLK MUSIC SHOW ALL DAY LONG! gah.
