"What do you want me to do, to do to see you through?"
Seriously, college is people overload. I like it though. Such a pleasant change from my high school...with a graduating class of 70. >.< Anyways, I barely got a chance to practice piano today (which I really needed to do) because I kept hanging out with people.
This morning I woke up and saw that it was 10 am...I had slept through my Humanities lecture! I went to the Humanities seminar, though, and my friend from that class emailed me the notes. I really didn't miss out on much. *shrugs* This is what I get for staying up until 2 am!
Tonight was the poetry workshop thing, but nobody showed up except me and the leader dude. Probably cuz he posted that the workshop was a go this week just today. So I just ended up talking with him. He has such a Fight Club view of life. He had these stories about how he had written a comic series for a while, but it ended because he slept with all the artist chicks who worked on it with him...and how he wants to sing in this band and about how it'd just be easier to steal stuff than to get a lame office job. We actually had a good conversation. It got really freezing where the meeting was outside, so we ended up walking around campus talking.
I *still* need to finish my 8 page paper by Friday night at midnight. Oh how I love turning in papers online. I wrote a super detailed outline and started to fill it in. I'm at page three so far.
THIS is pretty much the best thing ever. As is THIS. And dude...who comes up with THIS? If and when I ever have children, I will be that mother that keeps hilarious bandages like these hanging around. (Also that online store is pretty amazing)
I don't know what I'm going to do when I go back home next weekend. Actually my friends from home will have already planned out my thanksgiving weekend for me. What do I want to bet... They're still super attached to each other. I'm grateful to have moved on.
