Ooooh, shiny!
I'm a very practical person... until I see something shiny. And the convertible I rented today is very, very shiny. (I'd give you a pic instead but I broke my touchpad buttons by taking my computer apart to fix the fan last week. No more right clicking for me! We won't discuss the cute little wireless mouse I had that I broke as well. Seriously, a gazelle-like ninja, I swear!!!!)
It was only 30 dollars more for the whole 4 day rental period!!!!! I couldn't resist. I will be driving it up to Chiefland this weekend to see Jon, old friend and car-guru extrordinaire, who will help me buy a new, sadly non-convertible, car. I'm getting $6900 from the insurance company after the deductable which is fair, all things considered, and hopefully with that plus a little help from my mom we can find a car that won't fall apart on the drive home. I'm looking at getting another echo, a civic, corolla, accent, or one of those boxy scions. Anyone have any recommendations before I go?
