Steve McQueen is loin-tremblingly hot in The Getaway. I can see why he and Ali McGraw ended up having affairs and getting married while filming this. Good god damn.
We have a new upstairs neighbor. I can't remember how much I talked about the old one on here but I am really glad he's gone. He was starting to creep us out by the end there... Our landlord is going to rent the place out seasonally now so the new guy is only here for 7 weeks. That's actually disappointing, since he's closer to our age/ social outlook and seems to be really cool. We all got drunk and hung out on the deck upstairs for a few hours before going crabbing around 2 in the morning. We caught a little blue crab and a speckled crab (which was what I was looking for). I'm going to have to go out again when I have the energy to drive them back to the lab in the middle of the night. We've invited him to our Sunday brunch outing... though we didn't go to bed until 3 and no one is up but me so it might be more of a linner.
Since Bainer is in esthetician school she needs to practice her technique and I am reaping the benefits. I got my legs waxed last night, which I've always wanted to try. It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be but I think I'm going to stick to shaving.
I have way too much studying to do for my final so I suppose I should get on that... I'll keep half an eye on my books, the other half on Steve McQueen.
