That's what reading too many Agatha Christie novels and watching all Geraldine McEwan episodes of The Miss Marple Mysteries does to you.
Suddenly you start plotting out ridiculous stories where John is a crippled WW1 veteran who moves into a country house in a quiet English village together with his two mysterious friends from the war, Miss Teyla Emmagan and Mr Ronon Dex, and where the only one who can save him from being hanged for a murder he didn't commit is Miss Marple.

I still blame you for my Vegas!John/Dean Winchester plot bunnies... don't think I forgot about that. ;p
