Writer's Block: It’s about to get hairy
I am a pogonophile (beard lover) for one simple reason: beards are MANLY.
That said, not all men look good with beards, and not all beards are created equal. Gnarly hippy beards don't do it for me, but a stylish, business-like approach gets me all aflutter.
My husband absolutely HATES facial hair, and wouldn't grow a beard for anything in the world (not even me). He calls mean with beards "cave men" or "neanderthals." We live in Portland, OR, where the beard reigns supreme, so there's a lot of opportunity for funny banter between the two of us as we are out and about :-)
