Fan babbling, filter info and all call~
Wow. A public post. Hello LiveJournal Land! *waves*
God.
There's nothing worse than reading a fic that tries SO hard to be titillating and mature, only to sorely be let down when the bad spelling, grammar, horrible generalizations, overly flowery and wordy descriptions of sexual acts ("he kissed her hard and pumped in and out of her wishing he could make it last forever" god. no. make it stop.)
But then, my current fangeekery is aimed at kids. And it seems kids (at the very least, mentally adolescent) have taken over the genre of smut writing. I cry on the inside. I want to smash their faces. /tori
...but then again, who am I to judge? I write like an over-philosophical maniac on Ecstasy and Prozac, with a bottle of wine in one hand, and a porno in the other. Hence why I stopped writing long ago (although I've been dabbling in TW drabblefic. >.>;;; Unposted of course.)
Anyways. Between that and going completely bonkers at the hires_hunks community (omg so many lovely pictures and I'm sitting here squealing over my newly made "yum" folder), I'm having a mixed evening.
Also, because I'm SURE that some of you could care less about certain aspects of my fandom, I'm making an all call for the filters I use. Here's my current list under cut:
general pals: Just about everyone except strictly doll folk are on here, I only tend to edit this group if I add a new person, or realize someone only wants to look at dolls, etc. If for SOME reason you're not seeing any of my recent posts except this one, I probably was stupid and forgot to add you when I did my overhaul. I'm sorry, and all you need do is comment to be added. :3 This filter is where I usually post fanart, music, work rants, memes and various links.
dollgroup: For people who want to see my dolls and posts concerning them. I sometimes post pictures in "general pals" but only if I'm especially excited or fond of them. The photostories, doll questions, requests, sales, and >.>; dollsmut are all contained here, or in my RP/Doll journal aoikayoubi If you want to be part of either, and you don't think you've been included, let me know and I can add you.
fansquee: a new filter I made for my fan geeking. I decided that I was getting entirely too geeky on the general filter, so I made a new one for geekery, icons, fic (if I decide to post any >.>), heinous plans, picspam and anytime I feel the need to go "OMG!!111 I'm a DORK FOR GETTING THIS INTO IT!" Since it's so new, if you would like to be privy to my geeking, or don't mind sharing the geek!love, let me know and I'll put you on. Fandoms include but are not limited to just about anything in my interests list, but are currently focused on Doctor Who (and David Tennant), Torchwood (and John Barrowman), Hugh Jackman in anything (or out of anything), britpop (even if it's cheesy), House MD, NCIS (abby!love), and my best friend's story featuring Chang <3, Jack, Thomas and Maggie. X3
I thought about making a smut/porn/nekkidness only filter, but you guys should already know what a perverted old woman I am, so I figure you know what you're getting into. And if you didn't...well, you do now!
Also, I figure this is a good time to weed my flist. If you and I aren't exactly buddy-buddy, don't keep up, or you can't remember why you added me in the first place, this is where you can defriend me, no questions asked. For any reason you like, including the fact that I'm just not as cool as you thought I was. And you'd be perfectly right!
I'm also going to do an all-call. I would like to you comment on the next post I make. I have on my flist people that don't talk to me, nor I them, they do not comment on anything I post, and frankly look as though I'm just flist padding. I'd like to know that you actually read my posts, even if it's just occasionally, and even if you never comment. Because if you don't read my posts, why have me friended at all? And why should I continue to read yours? This may sound really snarky, but I'm not a large-group type of gal, I would like to be more personal with the things I post, and I can't really understand why people friend me in the first place. I'm so WEIRD....
...this is not meant to be a pity party or comment whoring. I would just like to get an idea of people who still take an interest in my life, and safely let go of the ones that don't. *shrug*
In general, doll folk are exempted from this, because I don't care if you read my journal and comment, I've friended you because I love your photos and your dolls. (And some I love because I just do <3)
...and if all of that just turned you WAAAAY off, feel free to defriend me at anytime. ^^ I don't get upset and confused like most people (unless we, at anytime, have been like "OMG BFF!!!11" which unless you're Zoe, Kchan, Pink, Kate and other folks that I've known forever is probably not applicable) when you defriend. It's okay, really. You're not going to mortally WOUND me.
So remember, if you love me and want to sex me up give me candy have my babies keep me as an flister, just comment on the next post and I'll be happy to say "Yay, thank you! :D"
