I know, shame there's no feedback form on this article. Maybe responding to the author's tweet would be an option. (Ew, she also tweeted the woman who made the offending statement, telling her "your final quote in the piece makes you the official love guru :)". Oh yeah, she's a total expert on how things are!)

It's really sickening to see this kind of casual aromantic erasure... she doesn't just assume that aromantic people don't exist, but actually bothers to say that anyone who claims to be aromantic should be disbelieved, which is just completely uncalled-for. And it's even worse that they put that quote right at the end like it's the final word on the subject, without making the slightest effort to challenge it. These articles are read by millions of people so I despair at seeing these damaging myths perpetuated. And only a few months after one of our main TV channels broadcast the message "Sex is natural, normal, we all need it, we all like it, we all want to be loved and we all want to be touched, end of story". Please can the media stop telling us what "we all want"? :|
