I thought some of you guys might be interested to see the results of the Asexual Census (I posted a link back when it was going on). I should reiterate that I didn't design this or help administer it, though I was one of the respondents. (They had thousands of respondents! This data is cool, despite the fact that of course it was a survey that was voluntarily sought out and answered by respondents via the Internet so it is only representative of that population, not necessarily the larger asexual population, but I imagine that community would be difficult to reach.)

And while I'm on the subject, if you didn't know, it's
Asexual Awareness Week, and if you want to help spread awareness you can download a pamphlet or something.
I got a new article published in Good Vibrations, in honor of the week:
Why Should the Sex-Positive Community Promote Asexuality Awareness? And my new video on
The Unassailable Asexual is up on YouTube, but it kinda came out not as great as I wanted it to. I stand by its points but I think I could have made a better one if I wasn't stressed out and busy. (And I wasn't feeling great the day I made it. I was puking that morning. Yummy.) I think I came off sort of like an asshole during my debunking of #8 (the one about physical unattractiveness/social awkwardness). I was trying to be sarcastic, but I'm not sure if it's clear to people watching. It's a two-part video that's about thirty minutes long. Hooray, a half-hour special!
Enjoy.
