Gotta love when babies with superpowers do weird stuff to protect themselves. . . .

Random question: do the two daughters have different fathers?

Yes. It's not covered in the webcomic but it's pretty well cemented that they have two different fathers due to Tonya's older sister Tara being referred to as "half-sister" in her character page (though in practice they only refer to themselves as sisters).

Right, that makes sense that they refer to each other as sisters, I know plenty of folks in real life who do that, too. I was just asking because they look like they have different (biological) fathers.

Yep, me too. My best friend since high school had a daughter by one guy and then married a different guy and had a son. The daughter calls the son her brother, and also her dad is married and has two more daughters whom she calls her sisters. Seems clunky otherwise.

When Tonya was introduced it was briefly mentioned that she had a Korean dad and a Caucasian mom (of unspecified national origin). Her sister looks like her mom's previous mate must've been Caucasian too.

Note: I'm glad you can pick up on such a detail despite my crappy drawing. ^___^

I had to go back a few weeks to be sure.

Well, I'm well aware I'm not the world's best artist (though I think my art would be a lot better if I gave it more time; I find consistent updates more important than high-quality drawings, and I don't always have time to focus on the art). Considering that people (especially the baby) seem to change sizes because I suck at perspective and consistency, I was a little surprised that you could actually see a minor detail I was HOPING would come through but never went out of my way to convey.

I guess I just notice things like that?

I hope that the kinds of people who would want to read my comic would do so. :) (I just rarely get feedback/proof to that effect.)
