Update Time ...
Hello!
I keep telling myself that I need to update more, but then I make excuses for why I shouldn't update. I read lj whenever I'm online, just to check on everyone. Beware: I'm lurking around on lj reading, but not responding.
Things have been interesting these last few weeks. I'm not really sure how to explain what has happened. Failure lurks behind every turn of late, which just adds more pressure to perform even better and greater. *sighs* This audition for "Nicole's Adult Life" has not gone as well as I had hoped. It just feels like I keep auditioning for a part in my life and finding out that someone else has the role. Mum and I talked about "auditioning" ie "interviewing" for various positions and how I need to do an over the top audition. Gads. It just feels so darn fake, if that makes sense. Oh well, I shall be going for "acting" lessons in the next week or so. Mashell has decided that I need a "bit" of help since I seem to be struggling. Told Mum it might just be best if I take a valium before I go for an interview. It's hard to describe how I feel during an interview, there just seems to be something lacking somewhere.
Anyways, does anyone have any book, author, etc. recommendations? I'll read just about anything, so please make some recommendations!!!
Music recommendations are also welcomed, once again ... anything would be great! I'm trying expand my horizons with more artists young and old. I keep finding new artists to listen to. hehe. Wonderful fun stuff!
Otherwise, I'm doing well. No real complaints. Doug makes the world go round right now, more so than anyone else in my life right now. hehe. Got to love Doug, I mean you have to love him. He's been my personal cheerleader for the last 6 or 7 years, but this last year or so he's really been my rock through the tropical storms. I know he loves me, it's just that simple.
hehe. "No No Song" by Ringo Star rocks! Lol. My Mum told me about that song, she would sing the chorus over and over again. Just give it a whirl! Lol.
