Not a single seventh year has one of these things. Terribly good way to get to know my classmates better, if you think about it. Perhaps they came to people in order to encourage interhouse relations. I've been reading and therefore learning about people in other houses I've ignored for the past, oh, seven years. Very good timing. It's all about ( Read more... )

None of the other seventh years have one, and it does not appear that a single other boy in our house is making use of his, if he has one.

So, you're the sole representative of your year, and I am the sole source of Ravenclaw testosterone.

Somewhat amusing, almost.

Let's hope, however, that as a result, people don't start to think that all Ravenclaw boys hemorrhage in the name of... a good potion? Or that all Ravenclaw seventh years speak in haikus when bored out of their skulls.

On second thought, both of those images are quite amusing. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Well, if Gryffindor is the brave house, Slytherin is the evil one, and Hufflepuff is the...other one...than we can start convincing them that Ravenclaw is the crazy one.

Complete with random poetry and occasional slips of the knife. Maybe they'd leave us alone, then.

I'm starting to like this idea.

It's a brilliant idea.

I'll dictate the poems, you write them down. In your own blood, of course.

Fantastic, really.

Imagine how much we'll save on ink.

But if we only use my blood, I would likely become anaemic in no time flat, and how would it look for the face of Ravenclaw manliness to be fainting left and right?

Not very good at all, I think.

It would only become a problem when you became older and your blood wouldn't replenish itself as quickly as it does now. You're in the prime of your youth, Terry. Bleed yourself dry. Have a biscuit. Repeat as necessary.

Also? Fainting spells are cliché.

Well...I am rather attached to my blood at the moment, certain scenes in potions notwithstanding, so I believe we will have to find other ways to convince them that we are crazy.

And yes, they most assuredly are.

Didn't you get the post this morning? We seem to be the only ones in this school who use the library for studying. We're already mad in their eyes.

You mean from Prof Sinistra? Yes, I saw it. Quite well, in fact.

And this has been lovely, Cho, but it appears that I now have other things I must do. A thousand apologies.

Understandable. Time runs away from us all. Be well.
