After Big Bang Two Amy Pond forgot.

She forgot the Doctor and the Tardis. She forgot the adventures they'd shared and the enemies they'd faced. She forgot the friends they'd made too.

River Song didn't. She remembered.

She was sitting on the bench on the village green in Leadworth. It was sunny, a lovely day. Amy was standing near the public phonebox, taking to someone River didn't recognize. Amy looked radiant as always. River turned the page of the big news paper she was using to cover the fact she was watching Amy. She figured no one would notice the paper was in fact dated several hundred years in the future.

It was getting close to the day of Amy's wedding, the day The Doctor's plan came together. The day that last roll of the dice either came to fruition or failed, sealing the Doctor's fate.

It was difficult to see her like this, knowing that she couldn't do anything about it. The Doctor had been clear on that; Amy had to remember, she couldn't be told. The power came from the memories. River was a catalyst though, she would prompt the memory that would bring back The Doctor and make this rebooted universe right.

River stood and walked by Amy. Their eyes met briefly. River saw one of the most amazing people she had ever met. But Amy saw a stranger. River kept on walking.

When Amy was finished speaking with her friend she turned and started for home. She stopped as she noticed something unusual on the bench.

It was a fez.

Something stirred at the back of her mind but she couldn't quite figure out why. After a few seconds something bubbled up from a distant corner of her mind.

"Fezes are cool," Amy said under her breath. She certainly wasn't expecting that to come out of her mouth.

Fezes weren't cool and...

Her thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing. She answered. It was her mother. Amy was late. Again. She resumed walking. Her mother talking and thoughts of the Big Day approaching

That night she had one of those dreams. The dreams about her imaginary Raggedy Doctor.
